(Studio) About OBRA

Est. 2019

Lisbon · New York · Tokyo

Fourteen people.Three cities.One obsession.

(01) Manifesto

We started OBRA in a Lisbon apartment with one belief: design only counts if it changes what people do. Three studios, 124 launches and one airline later, we still judge every project the same way.

0

Industry awards

Nice to have. The numbers matter more.

(02) Principles

What we
believe.

Four rules we’ve kept since day one. They cost us projects. They’re also why clients come back.

01

Senior hands only

The people on your first call are the people doing the work. We don’t staff projects with juniors behind the curtain.

02

Numbers, then nerve

Every project starts with a metric we agree to move. Then we take the creative risk that actually moves it.

03

Show, don’t present

No big reveals. You see the work weekly, unfinished and honest, so nothing at the end is a surprise.

04

Small on purpose

Six partners at a time, never more. It’s the only way to give each one our best people and full attention.

(03) Founder

“Most agencies sell you hours. We sell you the moment a customer stops, looks twice and decides — that’s the only thing worth designing for.”
